Germ cell tumors (GCTs) comprise a heterogeneous group of neoplasms. The WHO classification 2016 recognizes three types of testicular GCTs, including the GCNIS-related (Germ Cell Neoplasia In Situ) GCTs, being the malignant seminomas and nonseminomas.
