Background: Patients with vitD resistant rickets (VDRR) due to vitD receptor (VDR) mutations have extreme rickets along with alopesia, severe hypocalcemia, hypophosfatemia secondary to hyperparathroidism and elevated 1,25(OH)2vitD.
