Introduction: Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a genetic condition characterized by a complex hypothalamic dysregulation of the growth hormone/insulin-like growth factor (GH/IGF) axis, short stature, obesity, reduced muscle mass and impaired quality of life.
