Background: Glycogen storage disease (GSD) is an inherited metabolic defect of metabolic defect of glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis. Patients with GSDs are associated with endocrine abnormalities such as short stature, delayed puberty, fasting hypoglycemia, and dyslipidemia.
