We introduce the ReTRIACt Trial (NCT05579327) of tiratricol (Triac) for MCT8-deficiency, a rare X-linked disease resulting from disordered thyroid hormone transport and characterized by profound neurodevelopmental delay and features of chronic peripheral thyrotoxicosis.
