Introduction: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrinopathies in adult women. Syndrome is characterised by hiperandrogenism, oligo/amenorrhoea and polycystic ovary morphology in ultrasound. Clinical signs of the syndrome usually start already during adolescent years.
