Background: Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) is a rare autosomal recessive genetic disorder caused by the absence or severely impaired activity of enzymes involved in adrenal steroid biosynthesis, with over 90% of cases resulting from 21-hydroxylase deficiency.
