Background: Achondroplasia (ACH) is an autosomal dominant condition, resulting from pathogenic missense FGFR3 (fibroblast-growth-factor receptor-3) variants. Foramen magnum stenosis (FMS) is a severe complication, with infants and younger children being at higher risk.
