Introduction: Only 1.8% of thyroid malignancies occur during childhood, explaining very limited pediatric data. Most frequent in children are papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), occurring after exposure to radiation, and presenting as a thyroid nodule ± cervical lymph nodes.
