Introduction: Characteristics of the Turner syndrome (TS) include congenital gonadal dysgenesis resulting in disturbed sexual maturation. Only 20 % of patients with TS menstruate spontaneously. In most cases pharmacological puberty induction is required to maintain female secondary sex characteristics and menarche.
