Intrauterine Imaging Strategies for Bone Disease

Background: Fetal skeleton develops early in the fetal period. The appendicular and the axial skeleton undergo a programmed pattern of endochondral ossification, whereas the calvarium and portions of the clavicle and pubic bone ossify via membranous ossification.
